Who are you as a designer? 

I love to play in the interface of art and design. I want to use my passion for design and arts not only to enjoy the creativity myself but also to give something to other people and to speak about things that matter. The most important values in my work are sustainability, creativity, curiosity, quality and beauty.

What are your strengths as a designer?

I have experience not only from fashion design but also from the fields of ceramics and jewellery.  A strong concept and storytelling plays a major role in my design work.  I can be a valued member of a team but also work independently. I have strong project management skills that help me to achieve my goals. I have experience from working in the fashion field as a designers assistant from Uhana (Tampere) and from Anna Ruohonen (Paris). From the jewellery and ceramic field I have work experience as an assistant from my internships with Kultasepät Andreassen (Tampere), SaviSeppo (Tampere) and Ceraselle (Sevilla).

I have versatile and international experience that has given me a better understanding about European design, different practices and working environments. I have a skilled pair of hands and a strong visual eye.

How do you work with sustainability?

For me it is important to design products that aim to stay in the use as long as possible. This I aim to achieve by designing something that can create attachment and by using quality materials that last in use. It is important to consider the sustainability aspects from the whole life-cycle of the product and in the design process as well, starting from the material selection.

What do you want from the future?

I want to be part of creating more sustainable fashion solutions. I am interested in job positions and projects from design field (fashion, print, ceramics, jewellery). I am also interested in different kind of opportunities with sustainability matters. I want to keep my eyes open for different kind of opportunities, I believe I can apply my professional skills in various ways.
